Frivolten Cup & English Qualifier

A busy weekend for NTGA saw twenty-two members compete at the Frivolten Cup in Sweden and the second English Championship Qualifier in Telford respectively.

Josh Jones & Ross Tait travelled to Sweden to represent England at the Frivolten Cup having recently been selected by English Gymnastics and gave a good account of themselves in the Open Mens category. Making his international debut, Ross scored 100.845 in qualification to register 6th position after two rounds, with Josh closely following in 7th with a score of 100.225. As they both progressed to the zero final it was all to play for with Josh recording a score of 51.945 which was enough to secure a 3rd place finish and a bronze medal. An unfortunate error for Ross in the final round saw him out of medal contention, finishing 6th.
