16 Qualify to represent Region
NTGA’s regional level members are celebrating after a successful day in Loughborough at the NDP Regional Trampoline Qualifier on Sunday 10th March which saw them come away with a fantastic haul of 45 medals.
Subject to final confirmation from British Gymnastics sixteen NTGA members have gained qualification to represent the East Midlands at the Regional Team Finals at The Arena, Birmingham in June. The sixteen NTGA members achieved a top two finish along with meeting the outlined requirements and will provide the most qualifiers from a single club in the region, with the next best providing four trampoline gymnasts.

Performance of the day at the competition went to Sofia Rands, who registered two impressive routines to score a huge 56.25 on her way to winning the NDP6 15-16 Female ahead of teammate Mela Moseley, who finished 2nd with 53.10. Esme Rands picked up victory in the 17+ category with a score of 50.10.
At NDP5 Charlotte Chambers scored perfect 10’s for horizontal displacement in both routines as she scored 52.70 to finish 1st in the 15+ Female category, Ella Thomas joined her on the podium in 3rd with 52.25, missing out of qualification to Team Finals by just 0.10. In the 11-12 Female Freya Miles scored 50.25 to win gold, also registering the highest Range & Conditioning score from NTGA. Megan Loughney secured a silver medal in the 13-14 Female category with a score of 53.30 and Freya Portrey collected the bronze as she scored 51.80.
A strong first round routine from Susie Kemish set her up for victory in the NDP4 13+ Female as she ended up with a total of 53.55, Megan Thomas joined her on the podium, scoring 51.90 to finish 3rd. There was little to separate Zakary Gayton and Benjamin Small in the 9-10 Male category however Zakary came out on top to win gold with a score of 54.35, Benjamin finished 2nd with a total of 54.25. Jacob Fleet led the way in the 13+ male category, scoring a total of 53.35 to finish in 1st.
A convincing performance from Mia Scott in the NDP3 11-12 Female category saw her finish 1st with a total score of 52.10. Phoebe Brown was also victorious in the 9-10 Female category, scoring 51.55 to win the gold medal. Sam Wensley scored 51.20 to win the 13+ Male category and was unfortunate not to progress to Team Finals due to an error in the previous competition. In the 13+ Female category a score of 52.45 for Giorgia Gallone saw her secure the silver medal, with Joselina Poole just behind with 52.05 to finish 3rd.
Sophie Mundy topped the pile in the NDP2 13+ Female, scoring 51.95 to win gold in what proved to be a tightly contested category. In the 13+ Male category Jamie Dartnell scored 49.80 to finish 3rd.
There was an all NTGA podium in the NDP1 9-10 Female category, with little separating Freya Tauber Anderson in 1st with 53.75, Hollie Love in 2nd with 53.55 and Lily Wallis in 3rd with 53.00. Casey Duggan just missed out on a podium finish, scoring 52.75 to finish 4th.
Neave Harilaou was unfortunate not to qualify for Team Finals in the NDP1 11-12 Female category after scoring 52.20 to finish 3rd with 1st and 2nd place both scoring 52.25 and having to be separated by tie break rules.
NTGA enjoyed a lot of success at Club Level and there was an all NTGA podium at Club3 7-10 Female, with Aimee Lemon clinching victory with a score of 52.10, Sofia Falkner scored 52.00 to finish 2nd and Mollie-Mae Brown scored 51.85 to finish 3rd. Olivia Robinson scored 50.70 to register a convincing victory in the 11+ Female category.
At Club Level 2 Ryley Trimble scored 50.15 on his way to winning the 7-8 Male cateogy and William Potter was victorious in the same age group at Club1 as he scored 51.40 to finish 1st ahead of Justin Vlad in 2nd with 50.65.
There was another all NTGA podium in the Club1 7-8 Female category with Isla-Belle Trimble taking top spot with 49.65, ahead of Florence Halsey in 2nd with 49.40 and Ameila Smith in 3rd with 41.30. Lucy Haywood jumped to victory in the 9-12 Female category with a score of 50.00.
Other NTGA results included: NDP1 13+ Male – Jonathan Rowland 4th (24.80), 11-12 Female – Ava Betts 5th (50.85), Lottie Beardsmore 7th (49.65), 13+ Female – Lilyana Mineva 4th (52.35), Holly Souter 6th (51.35). NDP2 11-12 Female – Tori Glover 4th (49.05), 13+ Female – Evie Baker 4th (51.15), Emily Simpson 5th (50.40). NDP3 11-12 Male – Auguste Yi Cheng Yoong 1st (27.00), 13+ Female – Ruby Markham 4th (51.70), Lucy Carter 5th (51.40). NDP4 11-12 Female – Sydney Wootton 2nd (26.10), 13+ Female – Susanna Trimble 8th (51.05), Jessica Carter 10th (50.55). NDP5 15+ Female – Esme Feasey 5th (50.50)
