Youth International

NTGA members William Howell, Sophie Gardner and Katie Mackenzie along with coach Harvey Smith were all selected to represent Great Britain in the annual youth match against Germany . They join a long list of NTGA members who's first international cap was the annual GBR vs Germany The team travelled to Hamburg 26-28 September 2008. They all competed well and once again Great Britain beat the Germans. Well done to all!

British Championships |

Individual British titles went to James Higgins and Sophie Gardner whilst Vicky Payne & Rebecca Pedley joined up to secure the ladies synchronised British title along with their 5th & 6th individual places respectively. There were more NTGA podium places for Jaime Moore 2nd , Yasmin Gumbs 3rd (senior ladies) Amanda Harris 2nd (O19) and William Howell 2nd (u19). Other finalists over the weekend included Matthew Russell, Katie Mackenzie, Lawrence Breslin and Jadie Hodgson. It was a great weekend for TEAM NTGA at the National Indoor Arena in July.

World Cup Events 2008 |
Senior Internationals Jaime Moore, Yasmin Gumbs, Steve Walsh & James Higgins, competed in numerous World Cup events accompanied by NTGA coach Tracy Whittaker-Smith including Japan, France, Spain & Portugal. The exposure to such events will help the gymnasts develop on the international world stage.

European Senior Championships |
Northamptonshire Trampoline Gymnast Academy is celebrating after four senior members of the Academy secure senior selection for Great Britain. James Higgins, Steve Walsh, Jaime Moore and Yasmin Gumbs are selected to represent Great Britain at this year's European Senior Championships.
The four gymnasts who train at the Northampton Trampoline Centre, on the Kings Park site have dedicated their time and effort to secure their place and were rewarded this week after success in two trials events organised by British Gymnastics.
The European Championships are in Odense, Denmark, 27 April – 4 May 2008.
Along with the selection of the individual and team place, Walsh & Higgins and Moore & Gumbs have also been selected for the Synchronised event. This will be a debut international event for the synchronised pairs.

European Youth Championship Trials |
The European Youth GB trials represented by Academy members William Howell and Sophie Gardner. William ( Northamptonshire Grammar School ) impressed with his current form and improvement over the last year but missed out by finishing in 6 th position after the two trials. Sophie ( Northamptonshire School for Girls) who gave a strong performance over two trial events is currently waiting for a decision from selectors as the 4 th GB team place was a tied.
