World Championships 2007

Northamptonshire Trampoline Gymnastics Academy is pleased to be able to announce that 3 Academy members have been selected to represent Great Britain at the Senior World Trampolining Championships in Quebec in November. Jaime Moore, James Higgins and Yasmin Gumbs secured their places in the team after a tough trial process. Steve Walsh has been nominated as the reserve after he very narrowly missed out on the 4th team place.

 

World Age Group Competition 2007

Northamptonshire Trampoline Gymnastics Academy is pleased to be able to announce that Academy member Amanda Harris (17) has been selected to represent Great Britain at the World Age Group Competition in Quebec in October. This event is a self funding event so Amanda is looking for some financial support to attend the competition. Wilkinson to continue sponsorship

 

British Champion Yasmin Gumbs is celebrating after a nationwide company offers to continue sponsorship to fund training and travelling costs as she pursues a full time training schedule and her goal to become of the worlds best. 17 year old Yasmin has secured another year of financial support from WILKINSON. Yasmin has been training a full time programme since May 2006. The result of this training commitment has brought Yasmin British titles for two consecutive years and a Great Britain selection to the Senior World Championships showing she has made the right decision to dedicate her time to her long term development. Medals Galore!

NTGA members enjoyed success at the recent regional grade 3-6 event in Nottingham . Medallists from the Academy included Rachel Callis, Sammy Rosetti, Lawrence Breslin, Max Sidey, Edward Osbourne, Adam Love, Ella Sidey, Kayleigh Haskins, Esme Grantham, Abilgail Barford , Jordan Allen, Joanne Bucknall, Becky Rosetti, Nathan Harris, Ross Tait and Max Milner. Well done to everyone involved.

Win for Great Britain

NTGA members Steve Walsh, Yasmin Gumbs, James Higgins and Jaime Moore joined their Great Britain team mates to secure victory over Canada & Germany in Sheffield last month. Two time Olympic medallist Karen Cockburn (Canada) and world record holder for difficulty Jason Burnett (Canada) won the individual senior events.
