Katie Mackenzie (14) has gained her first GB cap, with a selection to compete for Great Britain in the annual youth match against Germany this weekend.

Katie had a good season making great improvements to her performance throughout the year finishing 4th at the British Championships in July.

Katie adds to a long list of NTGA international members who competed for Great Britain at the annual youth match against Germany including: Jaime Moore, James Higgins, Steve Walsh, Yasmin Gumbs, Daniel Neale, Laura Butler, Jayde Beacall, Paula Abbott and Stephanie Warlow.

Injuries

Academy members Jaime Moore and Yasmin Gumbs both miss international meets due to injury.

Jaime has just got the go ahead from physio Phil Pask to start training again after 6 weeks out, due to a neck injury. Jaime landed awkwardly on the last move in her voluntary routine at the British Championships, suffering a whiplash type injury. She missed the World Cup events in Germany and Switzerland.

Fundraising – For what?

The above two news items show you great ways of helping raise funds for NTGA, with no extra cost to you. Current funds raised are going towards the building of the brand new trampoline centre and despite the success of the ‘buy a brick' campaign we do have a shortfall on funds. We are currently looking at ways to ensure we can afford to build the best centre we can and also to help with the running costs. Additionally, we have launched the NTGA website and we will need to support this in order that it is well managed and kept up to date with weekly news to members.

If you have any ideas for fundraising or would like to join the fundraising team please email:
