2025 National Age Group Finals and British Championships
Following strong performances at qualifying events earlier this year thirteen NTGA members qualified to compete at the 2025 Trampoline National Age Group Finals on Saturday 4th October. The top sixteen competitors from each combined age group advanced to the British Championships on Sunday 5th October
National Age Group Finals
In the youngest category, the Women’s 10 Years event, Lily Grant showed great promise, finishing 7th with a total score of 77.30 across two rounds.
NTGA had a strong presence in the Women’s 11–12 Years competition, where four gymnasts demonstrated exceptional skill and composure. Isla-Belle Trimble claimed the gold medal, achieving the highest score of the competition with an outstanding second-round routine, finishing on 91.44. Amy Leigh Gibbons-Hennessy joined her on the podium in 2nd place with 91.09, while Alex Green narrowly missed the medals in 4th place with 88.39. All three athletes secured qualification for the British Championships. Danielle Beck also competed well, finishing 23rd with 60.07.
In the Men’s 13–14 Years competition, Olly Coleman and Henry Coetzer both impressed as they stepped up an age group this season. Olly finished 5th with 86.39, earning his place at the British Championships, while Henry placed 8th with 85.76, narrowly missing out on qualification. In the Women’s 13–14 Years event, Millie Vassel finished 21st with 56.35.
Sarah Brockie delivered a strong performance in the Women’s 15–16 Years competition, scoring 91.62 to finish 4th, just missing the podium on a tie-break, but progressing to the British Championships.
The club’s consistency continued in the Men’s 17–21 Years category, where Keir Davidson secured 4th place with 99.63, booking his place in the Senior Men’s British Championships.
The day concluded with a golden moment as Ellie Vassel took 1st place in the Women’s 17–21 Years competition with 95.36, also confirming her qualification for the Senior Women’s British Championships.
British Championships
Sunday saw NTGA’s gymnasts return to the arena for the British Championships, where the age groups were combined into Youth (10–12), Junior (13–16) and Senior (17+) categories for the pinnacle event of the domestic calendar.
The day began with the synchronised events, where Sarah Brockie and Millie Vassel teamed up to finish 5th in the Junior Women’s Synchronised competition.
In the Youth Women’s event, Amy Leigh Gibbons-Hennessy delivered a brilliant performance to become British Champion, topping the podium by more than 2.5 marks thanks to her excellent execution. Alex Green impressed again with a 4th place finish, matching her result from Saturday, while Isla-Belle Trimble finished 13th.
In the Junior categories, Olly Coleman performed confidently in the Men’s event, placing 11th, while Sarah Brockie secured 12th in the Women’s.
At Senior level, Keir Davidson placed 9th in the Men’s competition, with Ellie Vassel finishing 10th in the Women’s both delivering commendable routines in the spotlight events.
We would also like to congratulate Hugo Hughes and Jacob Bond who had qualified to compete at the National Age Group Finals but were unable to attend the event.
NTGA proudly recognises and celebrates the outstanding efforts and achievements of all members who competed across the weekend. The club extends huge congratulations to every gymnast for their performances, professionalism, and team spirit.
